Today I am bringing you news of a great product called LiceFreee Spray!

I never had head lice while I was growing up.  Honestly I had never even heard of them – I have some vague recollection of my mother reminding me not to share hats with anyone but I never really knew why.

Then in 2000 we adopted our first child.  On her first day of school I received a call that she had head lice and needed to go home.  I didn’t really think too much of it – after all, I have always had dogs and figured it must be similar to fleas.  I bought the over the counter products, washed her hair, washed all the bedding, bagged up all the stuffed animals and started removing nits.  But little did I know at the time, she had lice for more than six months but no one told me and although they repeatedly treated her, nothing ever got rid of them.  I spent a very long time trying to get rid of them and it was a good six months before I was really sure they were gone.  It was an emotional, trying six months to be sure.  I never ever wanted to go through that again.

Well 13 years later she got them again – she was no longer living with us but again got them and this time made no attempt to get rid of them.  Each time she interacted with our children I had to deal with that and of course my youngest daughter did end up with them in September 2013.  It was less emotional this time because I knew what to expect but no less trying!  This time we got it under control pretty quickly but then got it again this summer (2014).  I don’t know who had the head lice first but it was passed around through the summer program for two months.  I am pretty sure they are gone now – though I wasn’t several weeks ago.  I was hoping once she started back at school all of that would settle down and thankfully it has.

But now I am very aware that she can easily be exposed to these little critters again.  She is a very affectionate child and it is nearly impossible to get her to stop hugging, holding hands, and just being so near to someone that she can easily get head lice again.  She has had her beginning of the year head check and thankfully all was clear.

However, now I am a great deal less stressed about any future occurrences.

Licefreee Spray Instant Head Lice Treatment kills head lice and nits naturally using a homeopathic solution that contains sodium chloride, more commonly known as salt. Fast and easy to use, just spray on the head lice treatment and it starts killing head lice and nits on contact.  We practice a great deal of Homeopathy in our home and its premise is simple – do no harm!  All you need to do is allow Licefreee Spray to dry naturally, no rinsing or washing is needed.

Licefreee Spray has been tested to be effective in killing both lice and nits so nit-combing is not required for you to become lice free.  If you child’s school has a no-nit policy you may still need to remove all nits from your child’s hair – in that case, there is a nit comb with the LiceFreee Spray.  Another reason to love this product – as the primary person to try to get rid of those pesky creatures, I always end up convinced that I have them too.  There has never been any evidence to suggest that is the case but no one I know can seem to identify a louse or nit anyway so I don’t have anyone to look through my hair.  This spray can be used on me too.

Benefits of Licefreee Spray include:
·       Effective in killing lice AND nits
·       Spray on application is fast and easy to use
·       Begins working on contact
·       Patented nit comb
·       Non-toxic formula, free of chemical pesticides
·       Safe to use on children 6 months and older
·       Can be used daily if desired

Licefreee Spray is available in most major supermarkets and drug stores including Walmart, Dollar General, Kroger and Walgreens.

Licefreee Spray works the very first time it is applied and retails for around $10 for a 6 oz bottle, which is typically enough product to treat at least two children—depending on the length of the child’s hair.
