The [re]fresh Fruit Acid Peel and Pre Peel Cleanser are designed to exfoliate removing the outer layers of damaged skin, reduce fine lines and wrinkles, and lessening the appearance of dark spots and scars among other things. It contains Glycolic, Lactic and Pyruvic acids. It is also enhanced with Kojic acid.
Those last two sentences were for all you cosmetologists or chemists out there who know what those acids are. For me, all I can say is “Wow”, this product really exceeded my expectations. As I have aged (and don’t ask how old), my skin seems to have built up a some kind of “coating” on my skin and has lost it smooth feel I had many, many years ago. For months I have been trying to find a product that would make my skin smooth and soft again. No matter what I tried, it didn’t seem to do anything, or it worked for about an hour.
The Refresh Skin Therapy package gave me exactly what I was looking for. The pre-peel Rose Glow Cleanser was mild and very fresh smelling. It was a good prep scrub for the peel. Then I tried the peel. I squeezed the gel into my hands and began applying it to my face as instructed. Right away I could feel the heat in my skin as it began to work. It didn’t take long for me to realize the peel had done its job and it was time for a cool refreshing rinse. As soon as I rinsed my face I could tell the peel had done exactly what it was supposed to do and more.
Several days later my skin is still soft with no build-up of dead skin cells. The treatment is meant to be once a week so I am thrilled with the way it has lasted so far. I think this is a great product for anyone whose face is a little aged (again, don’t ask how aged) or is exposed to the elements on a daily basis or happens to live in a city where pollutants are in the air (I think that might be any major city these days).
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
