Baked Brown Sugar Butternut Squash
I had never eat butternut squash before and decided I wanted to try it since my mother in law seems to have an abundance of it. And pretty much every vegetable I have ever hated is better with brown sugar so I figured I would try butternut squash this way.
One butternut squash sliced in half and seeds removed
Drizzle melted butter over each half
Go crazy with covering with brown sugar
Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes or until the Squash flesh is tender and soft.
When I eat it, I scoop out all the flesh, add some salt and pepper and mix it all together. It is like a creamy dessert.
