Large Silicone Ice Cube Trays by Chef’s Necessities

So these ice cube trays are incredible.  No joke!  I love my ice spheres – everyone knows that.  They take forever to melt, keep my drinks cold longer and are attractive.  However, the biggest issue with them is that they are individual spheres so I cannot pile them on top of one another and at the most I can find room for four spheres in my freezer because they have to remain upright until they freeze.  But these ice cube trays produce huge ice cubes – similar in size to my spheres BUT (and this is a huge but!) I can make up to 16 huge cubes at a time.  Seriously folks do you know how incredible that is?  And it can be difficult to get the ice spheres out of their molds.  I sometimes have to pry the silicone free from the ice with a spoon just because of the shape.  With these cubes, they slide right out of the mold effortlessly.  This is me shouting from the rooftops about this product!!!!

Regular ice cubes are small and melt quickly.  The result is a beverage that does not stay cold for long and as you continue to add ice, it becomes increasingly watered down.  These large ice cubes take a long time to melt and keep your drinks cold for hours.  They are sold in sets of two trays; are stackable and make 8 ice cubes each; available in blue, white or black; and are dishwasher, freezer, microwave and oven safe.  You can even make flavored ice!  My kids love to make flavored Grape Crystal Light ice cubes and then add them to Crystal Light Lemonade.  It is actually quite good – try it!
