Zoku Personal Ice Cream Maker – Available in Six Colors
I was sent the Zoku Ice Cream Maker as well as the Slush and Shake Maker and I am incredibly surprised that my favorite two colors are green and orange and one was green and one was orange. They must be mind readers!
The Ice Cream Maker is orange but it is available in six colors – red, orange, green, blue, purple and teal. You can make individual portions of ice cream, custard, frozen yogurt, gelato, sorbet, or sherbet in as little as 10 minutes with the Zoku Ice Cream Maker! Whether you prefer classic flavors like vanilla bean, mint chocolate chip, fresh strawberry, or dark fudge, or you like to create your own flavors, fresh ice cream can now be a spur-of-the-moment decision. Top your creation with fruit, candy pieces, nuts, or brownie chunks, and for a classic flourish, add a bright red cherry on top.
How to use:
1. Freeze inner bowl for 12+ hours
2. Pour in 5 fl. oz. of chilled ice cream mix
3. Stir, scrape, and add toppings once the ice cream begins to form
4. Use silicone edge of bowl to clean spoon while making ice cream
5. For hard ice cream put unit back in freezer for 10-20 additional minutes after soft serve has formed
We made the vanilla recipe that was in the booklet provided with the ice cream maker. Sephora kept stirring and wiping the sides down. She couldn’t quite wait for it to get beyond soft serve consistency. It pretty quickly got to that level and then she topped it with whipped cream and ate it quite quickly. She is an ice cream-aholic so this is making her incredibly happy. Not to mention she really loved making her own ice cream from scratch! She will be trying other flavors in no time.
In the meantime – it is cleanup then time to start again tomorrow.
