This afternoon we had the delight of speaking with Santa.  It was my two children in one location and Jenn’s three children in another.

We were scheduled for 4pm.  Santa joined the video conference right at 4pm but we had some struggles.  On my end – we were able to see Santa and hear him just fine – and he was able to see my children and hear them just fine.  On Jenn’s side though there were struggles.  I was the primary contact which seems to be why it worked without a glitch for us.  But Jenn was secondary.  Santa could see them but not hear them for quite a while.  Jenn contacted Elf Support and they were able to get her children hooked up.  We could not see them but could hear them.  Santa could see both parties as well as hear them and once they were working just fine – Jenn’s children could see and hear us and Santa.

I still have no idea why we were not able to see them but regardless of some of the struggles the video conference was pretty cool.  Once you complete the video conference you receive an email allowing you to view the saved video.
