Winning Moves, Inc. Game Company

Winning Moves was started 20 years ago by four big players in the game manufacturing industry. They were each part of the top game makers like Hasbro, Milton Bradley and Parker Brothers. They each were interested in ensuring that many of the old, traditional board games continue to be made.

From the website winning-moves.com, they sell a wide range of all time favorites childrens games and games designed for the whole family. While Winning Moves, Inc has numerous games available for purchase on their website, we will be talking about just three games; Connect 4® Twist & Turn™, Mah Jongg™ The Card Game and Super Big Boggle®.

Connect 4® Twist & Turn™ – If you used to enjoy Connect4 as kid, you are in for a real treat. It has all of the strategy you remember, but it is the twist that will get you. Each of the five rows of windows twist 360 degrees and the tiles drop from top. It is a two-player game and each person takes their turn dropping a colored chip at the top and then strategically twisting any of the rows in order to gets four of their color chips in a row. The winner is the first to get four in a row.

Super Big Boggle® – Word games have always been popular and Boggle was on the top of the list for many years. Winning Moves introduces us to the ultimate Boggle; Super Big Boggle. They added an additional row of letter cubes, a four minute timer, a blocking square and double cube. When it is your turn you have four minutes to find as many words (four letters long or longer).

My Final Thoughts

I remember playing lots of board games with my brothers and sisters when I younger and when I grew up I wanted to be able share the same experiences with my kids. So when I came across the Winning Moves, Inc. and their website, I knew I would be able to find exactly what I was looking for. These three games were some of my favorite and I was hoping that my kids would get as much fun as I did.
