2015 – A Year of Firsts!

As I ponder the upcoming holiday – I naturally reflect on what this past year – 2015 – held for us.  We had many “firsts” and totally unexpected events this year.

1.     We had a Disney birthday party for our daughter in February and never ever had a thought about going to Disney, much less Florida.  The following month I was in Florida and in April the entire family was in Florida – AND Disney.

2.     Literally I never expected to be near a horse again in my lifetime.  Over the years I developed intense allergies and landed at the ER several times.  BUT, in April the kids got on a horse and by May my daughter was in weekly lessons and by July my son was.  Now we are at the barn at least once a week and even my husband and I have ridden a couple times.

3.     Lastly – our youngest child went in a different direction from the rest of the family’s musical inclinations.  She has turned to the saxophone!  We shop musical instruments online to make her dreams come true.
