Premium Marshmallow Roasting Sticks
Approximately 7 years ago we started seasonal camping at a campground in Maine. We have loved our time there – if we stay home there really is no down time. We go go go non stop. We started camping as a way to make us slow down and enjoy life. For the most part it has worked. Blogging has leaked more and more into camping time but we still go and still have fun.
Almost nightly when we camp – there is a roaring campfire with the natural activity of roasting marshmallows, making s’mores etc… But the roasting sticks we have been using for years are either plain old sticks from the woods or store bought dowel like sticks – which for 6 months costs a small fortune. We don’t use them more than once and easily go through 4-5 with each fire/evening.
Anyone that’s ever camped—either in their own backyard, during summer camp, or with their family—will tell you that the best part of camping comes at the end of the day when you’re sitting around a campfire telling stories and enjoying hot, melted marshmallows.
These roasting sticks are perfect for us to start using this Spring/Summer – they are reusable (washable) and telescope to a really nice length so no one has to get too close to the fire. While making marshmallows it is not uncommon for the kids to be goofing around and having typical summer fun – we need long sticks so they don’t fall into the fire.

Each stick is also colored so there are no battles over who’s stick is who’s. If Anthony is blue – he is always blue. The set comes with its own bag to keep them all in one place and accounting for. Plus it allows us to take them back and forth in case we have a fire in the fire pit at home. Each stick has two prongs so to things can be cooked at once – marshmallows, hot dogs etc… But when not in use there are rubber tips to protect us from the sharp tips.
I am totally looking forward to our first campfire and all the marshmallows we will enjoy with our new Premium Marshmallow Roasting Sticks!
