Spring is Here - No Time for Setbacks With Nutrisystem

Spring is Here – No Time For Setbacks

Ahhh… I have really enjoyed this winter and the minimal snow days we have had.  We have been able to ride horses all winter long and the dogs have still been able to run around and play!  And although I had hoped we would be in the clear from nasty weather – we are hearing reports of a major storm in a few days.  Yuck – crossing my fingers and toes that he decides to miss us.

What’s my favorite Nutrisystem tip this week?  The Blender Free Guacamole is easy peasy and so much fun I can even get my kids to help – what child doesn’t love to smoosh things.  Years ago I couldn’t imagine eating guacamole – but in the last ten years it has become a favorite of mine – as well as avocados.

My daughter and I have started working together on weight loss.  This is our shared snack of choice (as long as the bunny doesn’t eat it first):

I put a pair of shorts on from last summer and guess what?  Too big – time to go shopping.  Actually I am not shopping yet – I can get away without shorts for several more weeks so I can lose more weight.

An updated photo – not necessarily the most flattering outfit but it is a new sweater so I figured I would share:

This week I lost a pound after two weeks of no loss.  Actually that was as of Monday – this post is three days late…  In the last three days though I have done a great deal of walking and met my goal every day with my Fitbit… Woohoo… My total so far is 12 pounds in 9 weeks.  As the weather improves so should my weight loss because I love to be outside!
