This is a really cool spin on your basic playground ball. I struggled to get a photo that accurately depicted just how much fun it is. The Reactorz Light-Up Playground Ball is a great deal more soft than it looks.
This ball is an 8 inch round playground ball that lights up upon impact – the perfect entertainment for an SRP Playground. So as it bounces on the ground – it lights up; as you catch it – it lights up. It is hard to see the lighting up during the day but you can see it very clearly at night.
The reactive light technology works with every touch, tap, throw or kick. There is a built in battery that is non – replaceable. The light glows in a bright green and the ball is protected by a laser purple shield that is plenty soft – not a hard plastic.
This ball is even more fun when playing at the campground at dusk or even in the dark. We stay out really really late anyway – camping loses all bedtimes. We stay out til everyone is falling asleep on their feet. It is even more important to keep the kids occupied once the sun sets.
This ball easily keeps the kids occupied – though my daughter is the model for sure.
The Reactorz Light-Up Playground Ball by COOP Sports can be purchased on Amazon for $16.99.
COOP Sports offers so many ways for kids to get outside and move that’s there never an excuse, even if it’s dark! Their newest line is Reactorz, made with Reactive Light Technology, so a kicked soccer ball or a tossed football becomes illuminated on contact. Like Isaac Newton’s law of motion, for every action – toss, throw, kick – there’s an equal and quite bright reaction when kids play with one of eight Reactorz products. From regulation-sized basketball and soccer to football (throws just like a real, regular football!) and disc, these awe-inspiring sporting goods are priced an allowance-friendly $5.99 to $19.99.
The Reactorz Light-Up Playground Ball is available in three colors.
