My son just turned 18 and definitely wants to move from more of a high school backpack to something more professional and versatile. Gone are the days of Spiderman backpacks for him – long gone. He will still be going to school until he is 21 (special needs) but his mindset is completely different heading into his extended school years.
This backpack is a really good size for him – not too large and definitely not too small. It is 23.9×15.4×4.1 inches and even has a special compartment for his laptop, chromebook or Ipad. It can hold anything under 17″ – all of those can fit easily.
The shoulder strap has a nice credit card slot for his ID, cards, passes etc… Because it is located on his shoulder strap it is considered quite safe and a thief would have a difficult time accessing it.
The backpack also has the luggage strap so it can slide right down the handle of his rolling luggage. This is important for all our trips to Maine and Florida.
The shoulder straps are very well padded so no matter how full this backpack gets – it will still be plenty comfortable to carry on his back.
The backpack and strap designs are sleek and attractive – a much more mature option than the backpacks he has been using. Also the hardware is high quality and the stitchery is attractive.
There are metallic gray sections that peak out from the fabric to add dimension and sophistication to the bag.
As an added feature (and one he is gonna love) this backpack ahs a USB 2.0 charging port and headphone port. All he needs is his powerbank – which he will be able to leave in his bag so he doesn’t lose it. The fabric is water repellent and easy to clean.
You can find this awesome backpack on Amazon.
