Digging Into Our LISTERINE® Supplies to Become Healthy Habit Heroes

Earlier this month I was sent a box of LISTERINE® Supplies for my family.  This photo is just as we were about to open some of the supplies and my daughter wanted first dibs on the products of her choice.  We already had a LISTERINE® Ultra Clean Flosser in the house but the kids were allowed to use it.  It was for my husband and I.  Guess who scoffed this one up as soon as she got her eye on it.  Now she has one of her very own and we even threw a personalized label on it so there is no question.  She loves having her very own hygiene products and I am happy to oblige to help foster appropriate habits in her life.  It is part of life’s lessons and so critical.

Anthony is older and takes a bit more prompting.  He is getting better about complying with prompting and really likes the LISTERINE® Healthy White.  I actually am not sure if it is because he likes it or because his sister took the “girly” bottle and he wants something for himself.

I am a huge fan of the LISTERINE® POCKETPAKS®.  Of course everyone knows they are great for the “on the spot” breath freshening.  But did you know if you want to lose weight – pop one into your mouth when you get a craving?  Most cravings are not actually hunger based and I have found if I pop one in my mouth then I lose any craving I had.

Good oral hygiene is such a critical practice for the kids to take seriously.  One child takes medication that requires extra attention to his teeth and the other has teeth that are so tight together, brushing alone will not protect them.  Now that the kids are back to school it is always easier to get them to comply with routines such as good oral hygiene.

These supplies have come at just the right time.  The kids have a dentist appointment in three weeks and I can’t wait to see the results of their improved oral hygiene with LISTERINE®.  And how do I keep them motivated?  Very simple – promise them if they keep doing what they are supposed to do with these LISTERINE® products – I will buy them MORE when they run out!  I know that seems logical to an adult but not everything is logical to a child.

For Sephora we rely on the LISTERINE® rinses – The rinse easily gets into those hard to reach, tight spots between my daughter’s teeth.  Her favorite is the LISTERINE® Smart Rinse – Anti-cavity.  Anthony loves the Healthy White!

Sephora also definitely relies on the LISTERINE® Flosser with the replacement heads.  She feels special using that versus disposable flossers.

And me?  I love love love the LISTERINE® POCKETPAKS®.  There is nothing worse than heading into a meeting at work and feeling like I have nasty breath.  Or sitting in a huge meeting with people so tightly packed in that our shoulders and knees are touching – definitely don’t want bad breath at that moment.  I keep LISTERINE® POCKETPAKS® with me at all times and they come in some great flavors – COOL MINT®, ARCTIC BERRY, FRESH BURST® and COOL HEAT®.
