Zoku Personal Slush and Shake Maker

I was sent this personal Slush and Shake Maker by Zoku in my favorite color green.  It is available in five colors – Red, green, orange, blue and purple.

Make healthy slushies, milkshakes, frozen alcoholic drinks (yes!), and fruit smoothies in as little as 7 minutes with this high-performance, design-driven slushy maker. Try ingredients like blended fruit, homemade juices, malted milk, chocolate milk, sweetened coffee, soda, floats, eggnog, energy drinks, soy milk—we could keep going and so could you.

I hardly ever drink but for some reason this just seemed like the thing to try!  Mike’s Hard Lemonade.  A nice lemonade slushie sounded good.

You need to freeze the inner cup for 12 hours before using.  I actually had it in the freezer all week so that wasn’t a problem.

Take the inner cup out of the freezer and place it into its outer cover (easier to handle and has a nice built in stand).  Pour your drink in.  After a minute or so scrape the sides until you have slush.

After a few minutes you are well on your way to slush.

After 7-10 minutes – pure slushie goodness.  No shaking involved, no blending, nothing but stirring and scraping the sides every now and then.  Next I will turn my favorite beverage – Diet Coke – into a slushie.

In the meantime – it is cleanup then time to start again tomorrow.
