I received the 8×10 gallery wrapped canvas (1.5 inch wooden frame).  I desperately wanted this image.  They did inform me that it wasn’t the best quality image for such a production but I really wanted this one.  Because critical aspects of the photo would have been skewed if I had the image itself wrap the frame, I chose to have a black edge for the frame and to keep the image fully in tact.

I always try to create something special for the grandparents with photos each year.  This is not – this is absolutely for me – my two girls.  But what a great gift a nice gallery wrapped canvas would make for the grandparents each year.  It is far nicer than sending the obligatory photo Christmas card – give them something they can treasure always and can view while prominently displayed in their favorite spot – whenever they want.

Personally I think this photo still turned out great on a canvas.  It probably would not have on a larger canvas but 8×10 is perfect – they made it look great.  I also received this canvas very quickly – there is still plenty of time to place your canvas orders before Christmas.
