My New Year’s Resolution With My Rareform Duffle Bag
Well it is that time of year where I need to start thinking about making some lifestyle changes. Now of course if I was doing what I was supposed to do I would need to think about lifestyle changes – it is what it is.
Always tops on my list for a New Year’s Resolution is getting healthier and fit. I am not a person who has ever desired to be a skinny minny – I am much more realistic than that. But I have this 50 pound swing far too often. It would be nice to just get my rear in gear and stick with it.
The good news is that philosophy has worked to help me stop chewing my nails a couple months ago. I have been chewing them for more than 40 years – time to be done with it. It really wasn’t all that difficult. I came up with a plan, stuck to it and voila – I now have beautiful nails. Of course I am more than a little obsessed with them – but they are no longer chewed.
So now I will rely on that same discipline method to get healthier and fit in 2015. I will be 48(ish) at the end of this month – time to take care of what I need to take care of so I can be happy and continue to care for two special needs children.
And I have been supplied with this great Rareform California Duffle Bag to begin my new journey to better health. This bag is absolutely one of a kind – I am sure I will have many people interested in just where I got it… This unique bag is made from upcycled billboards and produced right in California. The Billboard fabric is water-proof, mildew proof and the perfect combination of materials.
And to make this bag even more friendly… 1% of all sales go to the preservation and restoration of our natural environment.
The bag is lined with a nylon pack cloth with a nylon zipper closure and dual top handles.
I also love the size of this bag. It is not too big or too large. Last Christmas I asked for a duffle bag – I even picked it out. But it was in a box and really didn’t indicate clearly what size it was. It turns out it was so large I probably could roll up a twin mattress and carry it around in it – hardly a bag to be used for the gym. This bag is the perfect size – they call it the Light Duffle .
The Light Duffle sells for $39.95 and you can basically pick what you would like it to look like but it will not be exactly that. No two are the same of course. But they will honor your request as closely as possible.
Rareform also has so many other options such as Box Backpacks, Hip Packs, Classic Backpacks, Classic Totes, Surf Bags, Change Mats, Paddle Bags, Blade Covers, Snowboard Bags, Cardholders, Wallets and Pouches, iPad Sleeves, Laptop Sleeves, and Tshirts.
This would be ideal for you to carry your work clothes in as your run or cycle to work with you starting off the new year fit and healthy xx
I think that’s so cool that this bag is made of upcycled billboards! I think it would be fun to try to figure out what brand it advertised. LOL
I love that they are using recycled materials to make these bags and donating back to the environment as well. Although I don’t go to a gym I do know some die hards who would love this duffle and what it represents.
I will have to check them out. We are always looking for more durable bags to use.
