I constantly turn to two ingredient recipes for family snacks. They get fresh baked items and I am not slaving in the kitchen. It is a win/win situation.
I wasn’t sure what my family would think of this recipe – in fact I wasn’t sure what I would think of it. But it is definitely one of the best two ingredient recipes we have ever tried. Now I need to stock up on canned mango!
First of all I never even knew mangos were available in a can. A friend of mine told me all about it and I felt like a whole new world of opportunities opened up! I hate peeling mangos but my daughter loves them. In fact, I made a single batch because I just wasn’t sure – tomorrow I will be making another for sure!
- Yellow Cake Mix
- 1 Can of Mangos in light syrup
- Puree the can of mangos - just throw them in a blender and whip them up.
- Mix the pureed mangos with the cake mix.
- Bake at 350 until lightly browned and a toothpick comes out clean.
