How have you been spending your summer? How do you normally spend it? We are always on the go. We have had to slow down a little this summer because of multiple family illnesses and a very sick pet. We seem to be getting hit from all sides. But we do still get out and do plenty. Our trips are mostly day trips – leaving at the crack of dawn and returning almost at the next “crack of dawn”.
That makes for a lot of time on the road and many meals and snacks that are eaten n the car to keep us moving and on a schedule. Plus – seriously how much can you eat at fast food restaurants? It gets old very quickly. For example last night we traveled through two states to go see Brad Paisley and Justin Moore – you better believe we had our Zone® Protein bars for our trip. The kids love these even more than junk food or candy bars anyway!
We travel by car, plane, train or whatever we need to – though mostly by car. We like the flexibility and control bringing our own car allows. So how do we handle our snacks while traveling? Our snacks need to be portable for vehicle travel but also must be able to be carried while hiking through National Parks/State Parks, cliff walking, biking and more. There really isn’t anything easier than throwing some of these bars in each of our backpacks – then we always have nourishment with us no matter where we go or how far off the beaten path we are.

And now we can participate in all of our fun activities without worrying about meals – just pack these bars and we are good to go!
