Harry Connick Jr – That Would Be Me NOW AVAILABLE! #O2O #ThatWouldBeMe

I participated in the That Would Be Me album review program as a member of One2One Network. I was provided an album to review but all opinions are my own.
Harry Connick Jr – That Would Be Me NOW AVAILABLE! #O2O #ThatWouldBeMe

Harry Connick Jr is one of my absolute favorite singers (and actors for that matter).  He is incredibly versatile and talented.  I have followed his career for 25 years – literally.  From the day I got married and a little before – I have been a fan.  And now he has a new album that just came out – That Would Be Me!

Harry Connick, Jr. has New Orleans roots and the ability to advance those ties and musically evolve throughout his three decade career has made him a pivotal figure in American music.  He is a musician, singer, composer, songwriter, arranger, bandleader, and most recently, as the soul searching auteur behind his acclaimed 2013 album of all-original material, Every Man Should Know.  AND… he’s also an actor in film, TV, Broadway and more.  But most notably he is an awesome humanitarian working tirelessly to help New Orleans recover from Katrina.

When talking about the new album, That Would Be Me –  Connick is only half joking when he confides : “It’s the only time I’ve violently thrown myself out of my own comfort zone…”

Harry is quite the professional – he can make just about anything sound great.  On this current album my favorite song is “Every Time I Fall In Love”.  This song is so powerfully sung and a great message.  His music is the type of music I just want to hang out and enjoy with headphones – away from the kids and the drama of the real world.  Just get swept away by Harry Connick Jr.
