Breast Cancer… Yes you read that right. So many women live with the possibility of this hanging over their heads. Even many men need to be concerned and watch for it. Many of my relatives have passed away as a result of cancer – if it wasn’t cancer, it was heart issues. But the very first experience I had with cancer was when I was a young child and my aunt was diagnosed with it. I was old enough to understand what cancer was and how serious it was – and old enough for the experience to have made a lifelong lasting impression.
I have always been supportive of breast cancer research as a result and even more so now that I am middle aged with children and grandchildren. Not only do I want to make sure I do what I need to do – I need to make sure my children (sons and daughters) all know what to watch for, warning signs, and impress upon them the importance of self-care.
This October, TracFone is donating 10% of their Pink LG306 sales to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, with a minimum donation of $25,000. The Pink LG306 is available at Dollar General stores and online for only $9. Airtime service plan is required for activation. We can support the Susan G. Komen Foundation for breast cancer research by purchasing the TracFone phone! They have partnered with this foundation for the last six years.
With TracFone, customers get nationwide coverage on America’s largest and most dependable networks. And, with no activation or cancellation fees, you can change your no-contract plan as often as your needs change, without penalties. TracFone is the only no-contract cell phone service provider to offer Unlimited Carryover®, allowing customers to keep unused minutes, text and data as long as the cell phone service is active and in use within any six month period. There is definitely a huge benefit to the rollover minutes! On a contract – you lose the minutes you don’t use – what a waste of money. TracFone phones and airtime service plans are available at more than 100,000 retail locations nationwide. Ninety-day plans start as low as $19.99 (averaging less than $7 per month). When my husband and I first bought our cell phones we entered into a contract. That was 25 years ago!!! Back when everything was analog. Since then there are soooo many different phone options and you don’t even need to have a plan. Why should you tie yourself down to a two year contract? Seems incredibly unnecessary to me. Just pay as you go with a TracFone and at the same time feel awesome about making an impact by helping to support the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
Breast cancer research has come a long way but it still has so far to go. I don’t want my daughters to ever experience it or even be close to anyone who experiences it – we need support research to keep getting closer to eliminating any more incidences of breast cancer.
