I Am Loving My Scale Nutrisystem

I am beginning to love my scale after years (decades really…) of a Love/Hate relationship with it.  I spent years obsessing over the scale – I would weigh myself every single day and even when I wasn’t making the best choices I always seemed surprised at the number that appeared.

But now – I am not obsessing about the scale.  I know in my heart as long as I am making appropriate choices – the scale is not my enemy.  Don’t get me wrong not every single day is a result of perfect choices but what is perfect is I get right back on track and move on.

I also love that I am not obsessing over counting calories, measuring or weighing my food.  Nutrisystem does it all for me – I simply follow the plan and everything works out.

So how was my progress this week?  Well I will say it could have been better but I am still happy.  I lost another pound this week for a total of 8 pounds in three weeks.  This week held a great deal of stress but most of the time I still stayed on track.  This week held stress at work, my blog was down almost all week, and the kids and I got in a car accident.  I even went out with some friends and had a great time.  I could easily have splurged and had anything on the menu – but I made careful choices and did not over indulge.  That was a huge step forward!  I was so proud of myself.

Overall 8 pounds in three weeks is still good and an average of more than 2.5 pounds per week.  I am to the point where I am noticing my clothes are starting to get much more loose.  Today I was working outside and my jeans were not staying on my hips nearly as well as I’d like.  I will be buying a smaller size soon and I can’t wait.

Now – I am off to begin a new week and I am so excited.
