It is definitely that time of year where we begin to spend as much time as possible outside – in the backyard, on the deck, at the barn and at the campground. But as we start to venture outside we also have to start worrying again about fleas and ticks for dogs.

BRAVECTO® (Fluralaner) offers 12 week protection* from fleas and ticks and it is fast acting and kills 100% of fleas within 12 hours. BRAVECTO is helpful for dogs that are more than 6 months old and treatment is based on weight.

Our dog is Xena Lee – she is a Lansier Newfoundland with sensitive skin. I have always hated putting topical products on her. She has broken out with rashes and become lethargic. We have been looking for a much better, safer alternative for a long time. This has the added benefit of lasting for 12 weeks. I also love that it is fast acting – waiting 24 hours is not exactly ideal. Xena also loves to be by our childrens’ side (as you can see in the photo). She is quite the little (big) protector and if she has fleas then I need to worry about my children getting bit and they have extreme allergies and a simple flea bite can become a huge issue. Now we can continue with all our adventures and have no worries about our girl Xena getting fleas or ticks.
