Shatterproof Glasstic Glass Water Bottle – Safest Bottle Ever

Shatterproof Glass Water Bottle

I have been wanting one of these Glasstic Glass Water Bottles for SOOOOO long!  They are the coolest water bottles ever.  At its core it is glass – and I only drink out of glass or stainless steel now.  No more plastic for me.

The bottle is dual layered – the inside container is glass but it is contained within a plastic outer casing that seals right in nicely.  The resulting design is attractive and shatterproof.  The durable plastic outer casing protects the glass from breakage.  In an a rare event that the glass does break – it will not shatter because it is contained within the plastic.

This company is unique in that if something does happen to the glass – they offer glass insert replacements for the life of the product for just the cost of shipping.  I don’t know of any other companies that have such an offer.

The glass insert is 16 ounces and the outer plastic shell is BPA free.  This design allows no leeching of chemicals into the liquid.  It is easy to clean (and I don’t have a dishwasher so I KNOW).  If you have a dishwasher, it can be cleaned on the top shelf.

The cover has a locking mechanism (switch) so the lid stays locked closed until I want to open it.  No worry of spills and accidents.

The open space between the glass and plastic allows for condensation protection as well as additional insulation for my beverage.  I don’t even need a coaster!

A really awesome feature (as if there weren’t enough really awesome features) is the carrying loop!  The cap is a flip up/open cap.

If you are an citrus based essential oil drinker – this bottle was entirely designed with you in mind.

This Glasstic bottle is available in six colors.  I obviously have the green but my kids each want one so it is awesome that I will be able to get them their own color.  NO FIGHTING!  I also work in education and there is a growing move to glass bottles – parents are very aware of the issues with plastic.  Unfortunately glass and children don’t always work well together.  But this is entirely different and would a welcome addition into any classroom – no worries.
