It's Stubbs Grilling Season Plus Giveaway

Today was a busy day – aren’t they all?  My daughter had her first Hunter Pace event with her horse Toni.  What could possibly go wrong right?  Hmmm.  In the life of a Nagel – anything can go wrong.  This is an event that is run with a partner – Seph’s partner was bucked off her horse almost right after starting.  The horse came running back to the starting line.  Once she walked back – we got her back on and they started very late.  No big deal – we told them to take their time, know the course and just walk it if they have to.  Well then everyone else had finished the course and there were no girls… It became clear they were lost.  It took two hours to find them and they were extremely happy to be found.  It was hot, they were thirsty, the horses were thirsty etc…They were hours beyond being concerned about ribbons – they just wanted to come home.  Poor things.  But they were safe and sound when all was said and done.  So supper had to be a special supper….

Stubbs Sauce

We are huge fans of chicken so we tried some Bar-B-Q sauce on chicken as well as some chicken marinade.  YUM!

If you are more of a burger fan – here is a tip for some Boosted Burgers!  Making a burger – better!  Create over–the-top burgers by coating each patty with Stubb’s Bar-B- Q Rub, then sprinkle with a little smoked sea salt to really enhance that smoky barbecue taste. Let the patties sit for a while before cooking – you can actually see the flavor seeping into the meat! Before you throw them on the grill, make a thumbprint in the middle of the patty to get a flat, evenly cooked burger instead of a plump, rounded one that is undercooked in the middle. Imagine how much your family will love this when cooking on the grill while camping!  The perfect burger.

I typically prefer a sweeter barbeque sauce so I think I’d like their Honey Pecan sauce. I think I’d like all their products, though.

I would want to try this sauce first from their site; HONEY PECAN
Honey and pecan flavor balanced against apple cider vinegar and tangy tomatoes make this sauce entirely unique and perfectly sweet.
