I am a very active 49 year old woman. Every single day I am at the barn working with the horses – that sounds like fun and games but that work also happens no matter what the conditions are outside – rain, sleet, ice, snow, sweltering heat and more. And it isn’t just about riding – it is cleaning stalls, feeding, water, grooming, medicine. Even riding takes a bunch of work – a horse doesn’t tack itself up and I am never tacking up just one! Moral of the story – my skin is also exposed to all of this every single day. Not to mention all the abuse my skin takes with salt, sand, chlorine, wind and more…
So as I get older it is more and more critical that I take extra care of my skin. I really want to keep my skin looking as youthful as possible, as long as possible.
Did you know city’s have a wrinkle rating? What’s yours? I live in Connecticut so fortunately not one of the major cities but where are you? This ranking is determined based on where residents’s skin damage are most at risk from lifestyle damage and environmental damage in the year 2040. RoC® Skincare and Sperling’s collaborated to determine the most wrinkle prone cities. Check out the full 2016 RoC® Wrinkle Ranking.
I recently started using RoC® RETINOL CORREXION products to try and keep my skin looking as youthful as possible. I don’t need to look like I am 25 but I would love to look at least as young as I feel. I knew that I could trust RoC® Skincare because they have over 50 years of experience and their experience has successfully developed anti-aging products that guarantee visible and lasting results for healthier, younger-looking skin.
The products I used are theRoC® RETINOL CORREXION Deep Wrinkle Serum and theRoC® RETINOL CORREXION Deep Wrinkle Daily Moisturizer. Since I spend so much time outside I was thrilled that the daily moisturizer had an SPF30 rating. Now I don’t feel badly at all when we do this all day long…
That’s two of our children as well as two of our horses – there are more of both! Owning horses means never being able to take a break – every day there is so much work to do and most of it outside. Now I don’t need to sacrifice my skin in order to do it all!
