Welcome to the HP Sprocket 2 in 1 device. This is revolutionary to be sure. It brings me back to the days of instant cameras. What makes it 2 in 1? Well, it is a printer that I can use for my smartphone – the device itself is no larger than a smartphone. I can easily fit it right into my pocket, my purse, backpack or whatever.
It is very easy to connect to my phone – All I need is the HP Sprocket app and the connection is easy and seamless. It only took about 45 seconds to connect and be up and running perfectly. The photos are high quality with 313×400 dots per inch.
The paper is very easy to load – the blue sheet goes on the bottom. Slide the printer open, drop the paper in and start printing. You really can’t get much more easy.
The app also allows me to print directly from social media. Any photo I want from my connected accounts is easy to print
The camera is a 5 MP camera equipped with an LED dual color flash which allows me to capture and print phots in the moment. Photos can even be edited directly in the app before printing by simply utilizing the edit function. I can add a filter, frame, sticker, text, emoji and crop the image.
