One of the first things we noticed when we bought our first camper was that the beds are not a standard size. Sure our “master bedroom” mattress is queen size and that is a standard size. But the bunk beds in the bunk house and the mattresses for the dinette/bed combo are definitely not a standard size. There is no way to just walk in somewhere and pull a product of choice off a shelf.
So what do you do when you need to replace any of them? Let’s face it with kids they need to be replaced. And as much as I’d love to pretend mice didn’t exist but they do. Every season when we open the camper there is always some sort of mouse damage. Usually it is to a blanket, pillows, towels etc… But occasionally we get unlucky enough to have the damage be to a mattress.
Replacing it is actually easier than you’d think with the help of a custom Foam By Mail who can cut piece of foam. So don’t despair – there is an answer and all you need are the actual dimensions…
