Happy Places in Wales to Live

Rightmove has just completed its annual survey of the happiest places to live in Great Britain and below are the top 5 in Wales.

The average property price paid in Wales in the last 12 months is £187,045 from 17,523 sales according to Zoopla.

5. Bridgend

Bridgend is the fifth happiest place to live in Wales. The average property price is also below the standard for Wales coming in  at £177,000 from 956 sales.

4. Llandudno

Fourth on the list of happiest places is Llandudno. To buy a property here may set you back on average 212,000 based on the 136 sales made in the last 12 months.

3. Cardiff

Cardiff is the third happiest place to live in Wales. The average price paid in Cardiff is £249,000 form 2010 sales.

2. Monmouth

Second on the list of happiest places is Monmouth, where the average property price is £312,000 from 84 purchases.

1. Llandrindod Wells

And the happiest place in Wales to live according to the survey is Llandrindod Wells. The average price paid here is £193,000 from 63 sales.
