Well we have had a very mild winter – and very few people in New England were complaining.  Sure we all like a bit of snow – personally I like enough to see it for a couple days then it could eave and never return!  I would be very happy!  Plus most of us were still enjoying our outside activities to the fullest extent until the beginning of February.  Early February I still could occasionally go outside without even a sweatshirt – and never more than a sweatshirt.

But alas, winter decided to make an appearance and we seem to be getting all of the weather in one week!  We have had snow, wind, bitter cold and more.  Throughout the last week we have lost power a few times – fortunately just several hours at a time, though many others in my area have lost power for days.

Naturally as soon as we felt there was a threat of power loss – we scrambled for flashlights and this one was awesome – reliable, bright and lightweight, all with just 3 AAA batteries.  It has three different modes and a clip – plus it is resistant to impacts which is perfect for when the kids are carrying it.

Now that we have power back we will be keeping this flashlight very close for when we start camping and hiking – we always need good flashlights at that time.  It is perfect for all our outdoor work – the water resistance certainly helps!
