The Crock-Pot® Casserole Crock Helps Me Stay Sane Through The Holidays
Crock-Pot® Casserole Crock is perfect for those one dish casseroles. I love my Crock-Pots® – and I have at least four at home and two at the camper. I may have more than that – I never actually counted but I do feel like I can never have too many… We are constantly on the run and always busy when we are at home. I don’t know how people survive without slow cookers because I rely on them for everything. Maybe the majority of people just don’t know that they can do so much more than chili? Who knows.
The unique stoneware is also oven-safe for use in conventional ovens to cook and warm. With portability in mind, the Casserole Crock uses the Cook & Carry locking lid system for easy transport, without spills or mess. It also makes entertaining easy so you can prepare a casserole or dish in advance, then let it slow cook. You can enjoy your guests or get to other party preparations.
When your kitchen oven is working on overload, the Crock-Pot® Casserole Crock is a lifesaver by freeing up space in the oven.
- Slow cook delicious casseroles, lasagna, dessert and more
- Secure-fit locking lid featuring Cook & Carry system for mess-free portability
- Oven-safe, 9″ x 13″ stoneware with 3.5 quart capacity
- Manual controls – high, low and warm settings
- Dishwasher-safe stoneware and lid
- Cord wrap for neat and easy transport
Check out this locking lid system. It actually took me a second to figure it out – it is unlike another locking lid system I have. I don’t generally travel with my slow cookers but I have and having a locking lid is a huge bonus. The last thing I want to do is clean up tomato sauce from my car’s interior.
One of my favorite meals (with so many different variations) to make in my Crock-Pots® is lasagna. I have always made it in my deep 6 quart or so slow cookers but was definitely looking forward to making it in a more appropriately sized Crock-Pot®.
When my husband makes lasagna he makes his sauce from scratch. Well if I had that kind of time I would but since I never ever do – I don’t . This lasagna is a little different than others I make – first of all because there is ground beef in it. I normally use veggie crumbles rather than ground beef but decided to go this route this time. My family prefers the beef – I prefer veggie.
I start with a layer of sauce – I am using vodka sauce.
Lay down some lasagna noodles – I should have put four across but didn’t. I am using oven ready noodles but only because that is what was available. I also use regular noodles – and no I do not boil them first – you would never know…
A layer of ground beef – which I cooked first and drained the grease out. Just a reminder to never drain grease down your sink drain. I always save my sauce jars – they are great for collecting grease and once it is cooled, put the cap on and throw in the trash.
Now I forgot to take a photo of the next layer which is mozzarella cheese. Most of the time I put a layer of ricotta cheese too but today I was just not in the mood for ricotta cheese – so this is what it is. Then repeat the layers for a second set of layers. Put the cover on and cook on low for 5-6 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
And the final product – a lasagna masterpiece!

This is exactly what I need for this Thanksgiving! I’ve been stressing out wondering how exactly I’m going to keep my green bean casserole warm for the trip down to my sister’s and then throughout the Thanksgiving get together. This is pretty much the perfect solution! Thanks for sharing!

I am one of those who has managed to live without even one crock pot. I am still trying to convince myself to get one–I live alone so would only need a small one. I have seen so many dishes I would love to try but can’t.
I still haven’t treated myself to one of these, even though I keep saying I need one, love your dish too !!
I love this crock pot and have been looking for a new one. I think I will have to get this one for sure. Thanks for sharing.
That is a really nice crock pot. I am looking for a new one.
