Sleep Well is a guided imagery CD that helps my daughter rest better. She has always struggled with sleeping and I constantly find that we need to “change it up”. What works to help her sleep tonight may not work to help her sleep tomorrow.
Recently I started listening to some guided imagery CDs and I couldn’t help but wonder if they could help her – and voila – like that, I was provided with this awesome Sleep Well CD just in the nick of time.
The “Sleep Well” CD take you on an imaginary voyage to a lovely and soothing place where you will learn how to cast your cares away while making a pact to Sleep Well. The beautiful relaxing music makes it seem even more real. At that point, our conscious mind is distracted and our subconscious is open to suggestion. This is the science of hypnosis, and the aim of this program is to aid you in the process of self-hypnosis through guided imagery….and help you achieve a deep restorative sleep.
I am a firm believer in these resources. I use guided imagery to help my daughter deal with her anxiety – and translating that into getting restful sleep just makes sense and it works! She loves listening to her sleep well CD and I am happy she is now getting enough rest and at appropriate times. Thank You Live Well Series!
