The Derma Roller System for Skin Care
The Derma Roller System has been featured with highest recommendations on The Rachel Ray Show and The Doctor’s Show and also featured on many prominent websites.
The Derma Roller is a hand-held device which has the ability to naturally stimulate collagen and elastin in the skin to promote healthier skin cells. Using the Derma Roller to renew your skin cells regularly, you will be able to treat common problems such as wrinkles, skin hyperpigmentation, scars (including acne scars), uneven skin, stretch marks and even hair loss.
The Derma Roller is a micro needle roller with 200 extremely fine medical grade needles that create microchannels in your skin to trigger the body’s natural healing process to create new, healthier tissue.
I have never heard of this practice being used for skin until I was offered this opportunity to review the Derma Roller. However, I have bone/cartilage issues and the concept is the same as microfracture. By poking little holes, growth of healthy tissue is stimulated. Makes perfect sense to me! I am using this on some of my scar tissue on my legs – I roll the Derma Roller over each area 4x vertically and 4x horizontally then 4x diagonally to the left then 4x to the right. These actions stimulate the collagen and elastin formation in the skin. My scars are not nearly as noticeable as they could be to begin with – but if I can make them even less obvious and easily – I am game for sure. Be sure to order the appropriate sized Derma Roller for your need. They are not all the same.
