Snow and Lugz Are The Perfect Pairing – Giveaway

Snow and Lugz Are The Perfect Pairing - Giveaway Exp 3/23

Well, my new Lugz came in and I immediately had to run outside and shovel – good news, I had these awesome boots just in time.  Bad news – studio photo opp was missed.  Now I do have other boots but none of them are quite warm enough and it has been a long long winter.  We have so many feet of snow on the ground in some places – while other places have started melting and their are rivers of water.  And if we aren’t marching through snow, we are wading through water and then of course it all turns to ice and we start a whole new set of obstacles.  A better pair of boots was definitely in order – and quickly.

Lugz started bringing boots and other apparel to the market in October 1993.  Since its inception, Lugz footwear has been an innovator in the footwear market from its signature styles, to creating trendsetting styles beyond boots and has added casual shoes and athletics to the mix for the Lugz men, Lugz women and Lugz kids lines.

You know how “workboots” tend to be very heavy?  You can get exhausted just by clunking around in those boots all day long… The Lugz Shifter boots are incredibly lightweight – I realize they don’t look it but they definitely are.  They are very quick to put on – just pull the laces nice and tight and tie.  And the comfort level is definitely a 10 with their thermabuck uppers, padded tongue and collar, and cushioned insole.

I chose the Charcoal/Gray because I just loved how awesome they are!  But they are also available in Black/Gum, Golden Wheat/Cream/Gum, Charcoal/Lilium/White and Black/Mars Red…. If you want, you can even get them as Shifter 6 Fur for just a little bit more money – they are a taller boot with fur lining.

The sole is not stiff at all.  It flexes when I walk just like a light weight shoe.  For years I stayed away from wearing boots – I have so many joint/leg/foot issues that I can’t even begin to consider wearing anything with a heel, shoes that are too heavy or that in any way do not flex naturally when I walk.

Where can you get a pair of Lugz?  Well, you can check out their website or you go buy them in a store – simply use their storefinder and head on out to the closest retail establishment.  Around here Lugz can be found at Famous Footwear, Footlocker, Finish Line, Journeys, Modells, Bobs, and Champs.  Connect with Lugz on Facebook and Twitter to keep up to date on the latest news and deals.

Lugz has so many varieties of boots for men, women and kids as well as boots specifically for working professionals (steel toed etc…) and some apparel.  The Shifter style retails for $59.99.  Right now they have a sale until March 9, 2015 – Buy (1) Get (1) 50% OFF plus FREE shipping with coupon code:  SPRINGBOGO15.  Personally I am seriously contemplating getting the pair of Shifter Charcoal/Lilium/White and a pair of Mahala Charcoal.  I would be covered no matter what we run into while camping this year!

And now you have a chance to win a pair of your own Lugz Shifter Women’s Boots…
