How many knives do you have that you avoid using because they are literally just “not cutting it”? We have so many – it honestly never even occurred to me to buy a sharpener and simply sharpen them. My kids constantly ask me where the sharp knives our.
This Priority Chef knife sharpener model PC-KN02 will create a concave shaped finish to your knife (rather than a straight V) giving an extra sharpness that most other sharpeners can’t compete with. It has an ergonomically designed handle and non slip base. The stylish knife sharpener’s handle has been designed to fit comfortably when in use allowing you a good firm grip and has a soft, cushioned non-slip base under that stylish steel base! It is not suitable for serrated or ceramic knives.
This sharpener has a 2 Stage Knife Sharpening System – Priority Chef’s professionally designed advanced knife sharpener has 2 stages that can transform any straight edged knife to a new level of sharpness that almost any professional chef would be proud of. Stage 1 uses Tungsten carbide blades and should only be used for the dullest of blades. Around 3-4 pulls through this section will prepare your knife shape for the the next step. Stage 2 uses 2 ceramic wheels that will give your knife a high quality finish and a razor like edge.
So now we have sharpened all the knives in the house that we can. Tonight we were able to easily and smoothly slice through chicken breast – boy that was nice. Far better than using knives that no more effective than plastic knives. Now my biggest problem is keeping my really sharp knives away from my kids because they will surely not be expecting the knives to suddenly be as sharp as they are. They still pick on me for almost cutting my finger off (their impression not necessarily reality) four years ago because I was using a really sharp knife. I haven’t tried it with my scissors yet but I have some scissors too that could really use attention. That is next on my to be sharpened list.

That looks like a really nice knife sharpener. We don’t have one, but my boyfriend has been wanting one. Maybe for a birthday present. I will keep this one in mind!
