I have a english mastiff, and while she is not the biggest, she is pretty decently sized. Before, I would have had to struggle with her pulling and not being able to get her to heel where I wanted her to, but the Cloud 9 Retractable Dog Leash works wonderfully. With just a single push of a button, I can lock it into place, and if she starts pulling, I merely move a little closer, push it again, and it is locked again in a new position. Just as importantly, the handle is actually comfortable to hold. The material is not as unforgiving as other leashes I have had, and the shape fits perfectly into my hand. The strength of the leash itself is amazing. As I said before, my dog is not tiny, but I never have any misgivings about the durability of the leash.

If you have a crazy dog like I do, you know how easily some leashes get tangled, especially if you just have the basic cord. Those knots are nearly impossible to get untangled. Being an avid lover of dogs, I have tried all sorts of leashes in the past. I have had several harnesses that I liked, but they did not give me the same control that a normal style leash has. I have tried the regular leashes without buttons, and they are just not worth the time, because you cannot even control how far out your dog can go unless you wind the leash around and around your hand, and that is just time consuming and a huge hassle.
