This souvenir product is right up my alley.  We travel alot and although we have never collected sand from the places we go – we do tend to collect rocks.  That may seem boring but you would be surprised how different rocks are from one location to the next.  Given that – I am not at all surprised in the differences of sand.  I live in CT and just within in CT I have seen sand so very different from one place to another.  For example – Hartford CT has that famous red soil while in Northeast CT our soil definitely is not red.

I was sent a postcard from Atlanta Georgia – reddish soil; keychain from Barbados – a greyish fine grain sand; keychain from Boston MA – brown soil and a magnet from Atlanta GA.  These products are so incredibly unique and I would love to send these postcards to friends and family.  What a great idea.

I feel like I need to start a new collection from every location that is available!  The zipperpulls, magnets and keychains sell fro $4.99 and the postcards for $3.99.  Which is your favorite?  What would you like to collect or send to family and friends?  Which is your favorite?

I received payment, product(s) or services in exchange for an honest opinion.  I only recommend products or services I use personally and/or I believe would be helpful for my readers.  The opinions expressed in this post are entirely my own.  Your experience with the product(s) or service(s) may differ from mine.

I agree with you that rocks can be just as interesting as sand when it comes to souvenirs. I’ve collected rocks from all over the world, and it’s amazing keychain how different they can be. The colors, shapes, and textures can vary so much, and it’s a great way to learn about the different geological formations that exist around the world.
