“Westwood Sunglasses was founded in the outdoor recreation mecca of Ogden, Utah. On the Wasatch Front of the Rocky Mountains, outdoor recreation is abundant. It all happens at around 5,500 feet above sea level. So the need is simple; a go anywhere, do anything pair of shades in the battle against UV rays… with an emphasis on looking fresh.”
A while ago I bought a pair of sunglasses that had bamboo arms and a plastic face. They had received so many compliments and they are so durable. This time I wanted a full bamboo pair of sunglasses and Westwood Sunglasses was the natural choice. These bamboo sunglasses are by far the lightest glasses I have ever owned. You would think being bamboo would make them heavier but definitely not. Plus they are very attractive with nice dark lenses.
They have a classic collection (which I am wearing bamboo but they also have the colors coal, smoke and zebrawood) and the tribal collection (tapestry, tattoo, temple, totem and tundra). The temples are flexible and comfortable, my pairs weighs .8 ounces and has polarized lenses.
