The Mockingjay Finale is finally here. I am so incredibly excited and can’t wait BUT at the same time I will be so sad once I see it. I have been looking forward to this for so long. Having read the series several times I feel like I am a part of the movies when they come around!
I originally read the series when I was traveling and needed something to just get away from all the work and kids. I had never read anything classified as dystopian fiction before. Since then it is definitely my favorite genre of literature. I become “friends” with these characters, I shared in their struggles and their triumphs.
I will experience so many emotions watching this final installment of the Hunger Games Trilogy. The finale comes out in theaters on 11/20 and you can pre-order your tickets to catch it opening weekend.
Check out their website http://www.thehungergames.movie/ for even more information!
What is Mockingjay Part 2 about…
Teamed with a group of her closest friends, including Gale [Liam Hemsworth], Finnick [Sam Claflin], and Peeta [Josh Hutcherson] – Katniss embarks on a mission with the unit from District 13, as they risk their lives to liberate the citizens of Panem and stage an assassination attempt on President Snow, who has become increasingly obsessed with destroying her. The mortal traps, enemies, and moral choices that await Katniss will challenge her more than any arena she faced in The Hunger Games.
I-C will randomly select 5 winners from all program entries and will handle fulfillment of the winning prizes.

I plan to go see this opening weekend with my husband. My kids desperately want to see it too but I will take them some other time. I have alot of emotions tied up in the Hunger Games series and with Katniss, Peeta, Gale and more – I feel like I need to go through my experience first. My daughter will be very emotionally involved in this final installment too and I want to be able to focus on her needs – at a future date.
