There are still plenty of things you can do to boost your health. Here are a few quick and easy things you can do to affect your health immediately that don’t take a lot of time or perseverance.

Quitting smoking is hard. Many people spend years saying they’ll quit or trying to quit, only to end up at the gas station buying another pack.

If you want to give up all the unhealthy side effects of smoking, but you still like the ritual of smoking, consider vaping. There are a lot fewer ingredients in vaping liquid, and tobacco concentrations can be reduced, which can help you kick the tobacco habit altogether without you even noticing.

It’s easy to let life get you down. There are so many responsibilities that it can feel like your head is under water. That’s not good for your health.

Boost your spirits, and in turn boost your health, by practicing gratitude:

  • Write three things you’re thankful for in a gratitude journal
  • Think of one thing you’re thankful for every night before you go to bed
  • Make it a point to smile more often
  • Include one act of kindness in your life every day
  • When you’re thinking negatively, try and spin it in a positive light

Grateful people report experiencing fewer aches and pains, and they report fewer experiences of toxic emotions like resentment and frustration, which is great for your health!

Every step you take, no matter how small, is a step in the right direction when it comes to your health. Give one or two things on this list a try and see how they affect your life. Once you get started, you may be encouraged to keep improving your health in other ways!
