What are some of the foods you seem to always buy when you go to the grocery store?  You know – those staples you just can’t live without?

For us it is milk, bread, fresh fruit, fresh vegetables, AND Heluva Good!® Cheese Blocks.  Why is that always on our grocery list and in our cart?  Because there is such a large assortment of flavors and options:

The most important thing to do when I bring Heluva Good! Cheese home – is to keep my family from cutting them up and eating them as slices with everything they can.  Seriously – my daughter can barely handle waiting and I buy many packages at one time!  We find every flavor quite easily in our local Walmart in the dairy aisle/section – they always have every single flavor available.

One of our favorite meals to make with Heluva Good! Cheese is Breakfast Pizza – that is a rather poor name though since we almost never eat it for breakfast so I am calling it anytime of day pizza!

I make it two different ways.  If we are expecting to eat it in one sitting then I use a base of croissant dough.  If I expect to have leftovers then I use a base of pizza dough.  The croissant dough is a better option but as a leftover meal it can get a bit soggy and that just won’t do.  We almost never have leftovers of this meal though so croissant dough it is…

Then we add a dozen eggs – I mix them up in a bowl and spread over the dough on a cookie sheet.  The next ingredient is Italian seasoned ground turkey.  I do not cook it first – it is in the oven plenty long enough cook.  I spread it by hand over the entire egg mixture layer.

The final step – and the best part – is shredding our favorite Heluva Good! Cheese(s) to make the pizza complete.

For this pizza we used one block of Sharp Cheddar and a block of White Sharp Cheddar.


Bake at 350 degrees until the crust is fully cooked and the cheese is nice and bubbly.. YUM!
