DECKOLAND Blue World Map Tapestry

I have never owned a tapestry before.  However, one of the rooms in our house has seen better days.  It survived my daughter, then being a craft room, then my grandchildren.  Eventually I will paint the room but before I can do that I need to spackle all the torn sheetrock etc… from every adhesive thing known to man being stuck to the walls.

So I found this World Map tapestry – serving two purposes since it is also educational!  I call that a WIN/WIN.  This tapestry is 51.2″x59.1″ and perfect for a bedroom, dorm room or even living room.  The set also includes an 18″ x 18″ throw pillow cover as well as 8 push pins for hanging.  I actually used those adhesive small hooks to hang it – what’s the big deal with more adhesive on the wall after all that is already there.  

I am not sure what kind of fabric this is but it is very lightweight and has a silky feel to it.  My son is using the pillowcase in his room – he loves “silky” stuff.
