Many of us have been there.  We follow what we believe is the best guidance out there and well, turns out is isn’t.  The list of diets I have tried is far longer than just about any list I can create.  I need something that works but is a lifelong way of eating – I feel like that is a rather simple request but it clearly isn’t that simple.  I have lost weight on diets – I am sure you have too.  But they aren’t plans that I can follow for life and it ends up being a huge issue trying to keep the weight loss once the plan stops.

In the last 9 months I have suffered from some health issues that came on all of a sudden.  They aren’t weight based or caused by my weight but I can tell you without a doubt the issues would be fewer if I weighed less, even 20 pounds less would make a huge difference.

Right now we find ourselves socially isolated in our homes.  We can’t go to grocery stores and really can’t go anywhere.  If you don’t have a stockpile – you could be in trouble because this two week shutdown is clearly, easily going to be two months and perhaps more.  Living on our stockpile is possible but really not the most healthy of options – but we won’t starve.  It is frustrating because everyone in the house is slipping into poor eating habits – because it’s there.
