Mash-Up Art Pack – Paint and Pastels
Do you have a family member who loves art? I do – my teenage daughter can’t get enough of it. Every time she gets her allowance the first thing we do is head to the store to buy more canvas’. Maybe some day she will be a female version of Picasso!
I don’t think she has settled on a media just yet. She pretty much does it all – pencil, charcoal, pastels, acrylic paints, water paints, oil paints and more.
This week she has a trip to Maine with school and brought this along. The forecast is calling for a great deal of rain up North and I know this will keep her plenty busy.
This Mash-Up Art Kit by iHeartArt literally has everything she needs for paints and pastels. What I really love about it is the box is actually like a carrying case and it is very sturdy with everything having a spot.
The set has 10 tubes of acrylic paint, 12 chalk pastels, pallette and 3 brushes (on the left side of the folio).
The right side has several pages of tips, techniques and projects and below that (attached to it) is a 25 page art pad. All of these items in a handy box/case to keep all of it safe during travels.
I would also like to point out the philanthropy involved. They give back 5% of all profits to the Art Feeds’ International Program (artfeeds.org). This nonprofit equips schools and children’s organizations with resources to create spaces where children’s creativity and expression thrive. In the midst of the new normal of children attending school from their kitchen table, this dynamic combination of children’s supplies and a method of expression has never been more important.
iHeartArt kits available are as follows:
- Batix FX
- Bold + Bright
- Glitter FX
