Date Nights at Home: Fun Ideas to Try

Currently, the COVID-19 pandemic stops couples from visiting movie theaters, restaurants, and many other of their favorite places. Because of this, couples find themselves (more often than not) stuck at home – which means date nights outside have been put on hold. The future is certainly unclear, as nobody knows when life will go back to normal. Until then, the prudent choice for couples is date nights at home.

Date nights at home are a great way to get creative and have fun. If you’re unsure about what to do, here are some fun ideas for you to try.

1.   Visit an online casino

Of course, many casinos are still shuttered, which means suits, dresses, and heals continue to collect dust. However, you can do this: bring the casino to your living room. Online casinos have exploded in popularity and are available on all devices, from your phones to tablets, making them easy to access.

There’s no greater way to have some fun with your partner than to play on virtual slot machines. Try, and it’ll really get your excitement levels high.

2.   Have a painting competition

Most people love to paint but can never find the opportunity to do it.  With everything that’s going on in the world right now, there’s no better time to order some canvases and fresh paints for a date night. You could freestyle your paintings or watch a classic Bob Ross tutorial to help you along the way. After all, who doesn’t love Bob Ross?

Hopefully, you will discover that one of you has a secret talent for painting.

3.   Stream live music performances

Right now, nobody knows what the future holds for live performances. The inability to go to concerts has, unsurprisingly, caused people to stream music performances from the comfort of their own homes instead.

The chances are you and your partner both like music (and hopefully the same genres, too). So, it’s the perfect time to give it a shot.

Check out Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Twitter to see if any of your favorite artists are doing a virtual concert anytime soon – they likely are. If not, it doesn’t matter. You can load up an old performance online, find a comfortable blanket, and watch away to your heart’s content.

Don’t be afraid to sing along either!

4.   Pamper each other with face and hair masks

Even though grooming is seen as a nightmare by many, it’s impossible not to enjoy it as a date activity. There are plenty of grooming products on the market for both men and women – so there’s no excuse if one of you doesn’t want to do it!

Sit back, put a face and hair mask on each other, and relax with some Netflix. You can even incorporate other things (like body butter and eye balms) if you want to take your grooming-up gear. After you’ve done it, you’ll feel amazing and refreshed – and probably want to repeat it the next night.

Final thoughts …

Hopefully, you’ll find these at-home date ideas super helpful. Don’t be afraid to test them out and be creative – you’ll be able to discover which ones you enjoy the most.
