This space saving strainer and steamer by Magic Strainer is a Godsend.  When we bought our house we focused on the size of the house, the ability to add on/up, a fenced in yard and the number of rooms are what sold us.  However, we have struggled from day one with the lack of kitchen storage.  First of all – I don’t think it matters how large the kitchen is or how much storage we have – it will never be enough.  But we are seriously short on space because we have a pantry style kitchen.  There is barely room for a person to move around and definitely difficult for two people to do anything in there.  There are very few cabinets and we always seem to struggle with the clutter because there is no space for anything.

Additionally, we camp on weekends for six months per year and the lack of space at home pales in comparison to the lack of space at the camper.  We don’t even have a strainer up there because there is no way we were willing to give up that critical space for something so large.

One thing we struggle with for sure is strainers.  Strainers take up so much space in the cabinets and they never seem to fit nicely into any type of stack so we can save some space.  But this strainer/steamer is very different.  It is a large size and collapses so it can lay flat. Now I can squeeze it in to the tightest spaces and still have what I need.  I now need another one for the camper!
