I am a creative person and one of my passions is to decorate my home with trinkets, souvenirs, and other unusual items. Mind you, I am not a showpiece type of person – the piece that catches my attention is not something that you get “a dime a dozen” or is stocked in bulk on supermarket shelves. Can you say clichéd?

A few days back I embarked on a project to finally re-decorate my room (after ages). Even though I had sorted out most of the decor, I was unsure what to place on the shelf right above my desk. It had to be vibrant and aesthetically appealing but not too flashy or elaborate, which turned out to be easier said than done! It seemed the Internet was overflowing with stereotypes – it was all repetitive. My weekly trip to the nearby flea markets didn’t yield results either. It was as if my options were exhausted and my share of idiosyncratic tendencies had finally met their match.

Needless to say I grew frustrated each day. After two weeks of useless pursuits I was ready to give up, but Jennifer, one of my co-workers and a very dear friend, salvaged the situation by gifting me this Acrylic Tray Set. Dig into your stash of seashells (buy if you must), and decorate using an artistic pattern.

Have a mini exhibition of old photos – these snaps contain a lot of sentiment and emotion, so displaying them will help you reminisce fondly. The photos should be placed under the tray for a more pronounced effect and they can be changed accordingly.
