Banana Protein Pancakes
- 2 (20g each) scoops whey protein powder
- 1 large, very ripe banana
- ⅛ tsp. Cinnamon
- ¼ tsp. Baking powder
- ¼ tsp. Salt
- 2 Eggs
Separate the egg yolk and egg whites in two separate bowls. Beat the egg whites for two minutes and add the other ingredients to the yolk. Also, beat the egg yolk with other ingredients and fold 1/3 of the egg white to the banana mixture until they combine thoroughly. Then fold half the egg whites into the mix and finally mix the remaining portion.
Scoop 25 per cent of the mixture into a skillet and cook. Top with fresh fruits and honey.
Chocolate protein pancake
These pancakes are dairy free, gluten free and low-fat.
- 4 large eggs
- 2 bananas
- 3/4 cup old fashioned oats
- 1/4 cup chocolate protein powder
- 2 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
Add the bananas, eggs, and oats to a blender and blend for 15 to 20 seconds, until the bananas get fully meshed, and oats get ground completely. Add the cinnamon, protein and cocoa powder and blend the mixture again for 30 to 45 seconds.
Cook in a skillet and top with powdered sugar and fresh strawberries.
Apple Honey Protein Pancake
- 1/2 cup grated apples
- 1/2 tbsp honey
- 1/4 cup self-rising flour
- 1 tbsp melted butter
- 2 tbsp condensed milk
- 1/2 tbsp castor sugar
- 1/2 tsp fruit salt
Mix the self-rising flour, grated apples, honey, milk, castor sugar, and three tablespoons of water in a bowl to make a smooth batter. Add the fruit salt and one tablespoon of water and mix gently. Preheat a non-stick pan and put one tablespoon of peanut butter on it. Pour a ½ tablespoon of the batter on it and spread it in a circular shape. Cook for 60 to 90 seconds on both the sides. Drizzle with honey, and your pancake is ready to enjoy.
