Getting Back To My Drawing…
Years ago I used to draw all the time – I wouldn’t go anywhere without my sketch pad, pencils, charcoals, pastels and more. That was so many years ago. In fact, my parents were sure I was going to go to college for art or to be an art teacher. Instead I went to school for law, then switched to engineering, then switched to business. Long stories… I did however take art classes in college every chance I got with my electives. Two things I learned – 1 – I love art; 2 – I wouldn’t love art if I had to do it for a career.
Now our youngest child is 14 years old and I am getting back to some of the things I seem to have put off for a lifetime. Our oldest is 32 so we have put things off for a very long time. I received this 18 piece charcoal pencil sketching set to help me start my art again. I can’t wait to take this camping with me. Looking forward to sitting by a campfire and drawing.
This set is perfect with a full 18 pieces. Buying all the pieces individually can be expensive but this set has it all in one place. It even comes complete with its own pencil case made of durable canvas fabric to protect the pencils and allow for easy carrying. The pencil case is a pencil roll and takes minimal space (so I can take it on all our travels). Every item has its own slot and there are even several extra slots for anything additional I’d like to add in.
This set contains all the tools you need when use for drawing and sketching with all of the following: Pencils – B, HB, 2B, 3B, 4B, 5B, 6B, 7B, 8B, 2H; Three charcoal pencils; Three of paper pencils for blending, shadows etc; One orange pencil; a pencil extender; two erasers; and a break resistant knife.
