At the moment we have only one dog in our home, her name is Xena Lee and she is a seven year old Newfoundland. Her life is made. She enjoys running around on the horse farm and interacting with all the children and animals. She spends most of her days outside, and she loves to lay in the sun and on the wet grass – she is such a people watcher.
When I am at work, she acts as a guard dog and sits by the front window of the house, and loves watching everything going on outside. Meme’ checks on her several times throughout the day – they live downstairs. She has very high energy, which is abnormal for her breed. She is a smaller sized newfoundland and acts very much like a springer spaniel.
I have always fed her healthy and organic dog foods, and she is very particular. We even sometimes get complete adult dog food delivered since it is so convenient. She will often not eat what is put in front of her and it seems no amount of hunger will change that – once she doesn’t like a food, there is no changing her mind. There are occasionally foods she will eat if she “feels like it”.
When I brought home the Wellness® CORE® RawRev™ dog food, she went crazy. At first I gave her only a small bowl to try it out. I was surprised that she woofed it down, and once he was done she looked at me like “Mom, that’s really all you gave me”. I have tried other Wellness dog food varieties and she has loved them all! We are thrilled when we can resort raw feeding for our sun bathing beauty.
Core RevRaw dog food seemed to fill my dog up, therefore she wouldn’t beg for more and more and she seems totally content and satisfied. This new food seems like a fuel machine – it also gave her more energy than the dog food she was recently eating. She was up and ready to go at five in the morning when my alarm went off. Usually I have to call her a few times to get out of bed, but I was excited to see she was as ready as I was.
Since she is high energy, she burns her food off really quickly, and she always looks like she isn’t gaining weight. However after feeding her Core RawRev dog food for a few days, she started to look really good with a nice shiny coat, really alert, eager to please and sleeping through the night! She seems to be thriving on it, all while enjoying it!

Aww what a lovely dog you have, I have to admit I’ve not heard of RawRev before, but I’m going to keep an eye out for it, as I’m always looking for the best to feed Sal.
