Everyone who knows me, knows I love horses. I have a very demanding job by day and everyone tries to add something to their workspace that offers a little bit of peace and tranquility. For me, that means adding an equine terrarium, a couple other decorative touches and a pair of silk fern plants.
With all the hours I spend there I need to make a corner to “get away from it all”. Not to mention sometimes when people come to my office they are under a great deal of stress from some source. When they walk in and see this corner they instantly know that I value individuality, creativity, peace and tranquility. I am not at all into disrupting everything to get my way.
These artificial plants are gorgeous. They add so much to my space – without them as anchors to my peaceful corner, it wouldn’t be complete. These plants are available from Commercial Silk – as well as hundreds and hundreds more. There are options for every space you have.
Since it is an office environment – we are not open 7 days per week. I can’t guarantee that someone will help to care for “live” plants. I am perfectly pleased with these gorgeous silk artificial plants.
It is easy to get caught up in their site – there are so many options to choose from and you will want just the right perfect plants for your space. They have flowers, foliage, plants, trees, boxwood, topiaries, planters and more.
My plants arrived perfectly packaged – each plant had it’s own package, secured within the box with styrofoam and straps. My plants were not going to slide or break – they were sandwiched right into the protective packaging.
It is also that time of year where we are spending less and less of our free time outside. Nothing is green outside – not yet, but hopefully soon. We live in New England. It is depressing at this time of year when we don’t see green and gorgeous life outside. Having these artificial silk ferns inside makes a huge difference in tolerating this time of year. We haven’t had a great deal of snow but we sure have had lots of rain – all the time – so mud is about all we see everywhere we go.
These ferns arrived in their own pots – extremely heavy stone like pots. I don’t have to water these ferns – all I need to do is wipe them down with a damp cloth. Easy as can be.
And I know you all want to know how I made the equine terrarium – except for the little shed and the little barn outside the terrarium – it was fully created through the use of dollar store items. You can see a different one I created with dollar store items HERE.
